I often get asked what is a health coach?
A health coach is your partner to better health. This work is done through conversations about where you are and where you want to be. It can be done in person at the Red Barn, virtually, by phone or FaceTime. We look at your habits and how they align with your goals.
Throughout our work together, you are in the driver’s seat. We discuss what might be getting in the way of reaching your goals. Through conversation, sharing of new information that is tailored to work just for you, we create action steps for the week. Your actions steps are a way to test drive new habits to better health.
At our next meeting, usually the following week, we discuss what worked and what didn’t, adjusting as necessary. We will keep some of the same action steps, while adding new ones to test out.
These sessions can go for 4, 8 or 12 weeks. As a yoga teacher, reiki practitioner and meditation lover, I incorporate these practices into the overall better health of the client through our sessions.
