Have your ever wondered 'what is the Indigenous Medicine Wheel?" We will discuss an introduction to the lessons of the Wheel based on the book by Luella Wagner : "The Seven Directions of the Medicine Wheel - A Practical Guide for Everyday Living based on Native American Teachings". Living by the Wheel can lead to an awareness of natural life, of cycles, of a holistic life of balance; Mind, Body, Spirit, and listening to the Wisdom of the Heart.
The Seven Directions book will be given out at this class to learn from and enjoy. Fee for this didactic conversation will be $25 - this includes the cost of the book. Please RSVP if attending - text 860 559-6151.
On April 23 we will then host a Wheel on the Earth outside in nature in a location to be determined to offer an experience of connection with the Earth and to offer healing in nature - healing for both the participant and for Mother Earth. Fee will be by donation.
Hosted by Janice Juliano MSW LCSW. She was initially taught the Indigenous Medicine Wheel in 1994 and since then participated in many Medicine Wheel ceremonies and 4 Visionquests in Connecticut and in New Mexico. She feels it is time to share these teachings which have been the basis of the founding of The Red Barn in Durham. It is with great reverence for my teacher and to Gaia that these are offered.
