Join us as we transform The Red Barn into Magic School for a day! Classes/workshops for all ages including wand making, potions, divination, transfiguration, and herbology! Dress up as your favorite Harry Potter world character for our Hogwarts Costume Contest! Prizes with be given to the best dressed.

10:00AM -11:00AM Charms Class

Here you will learn spells for Protection and for Money, . We will be looking at candles, herbs, color, essential oils, crystals, and etc . To keep the cost down please bring a two ounce spray bottle. if not it will cost you $5.00 for the spray bottle. We will be making a spray that can be use cleansing, blessing and protection. class cost is $15.00. Please bring a notebook.

10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Hogwarts Costume Contest

If you would like to join the costume contest, visit the lobby between 10:30am & 12:30pm to sign up and have your picture taken. Voting will be online on the Red Barn FB page! Prizes to be determined!
Winner will be announced at 4:30 PM on the FB site as well. Free!

Have you always wondered how to use a pendulum? What they are all about? Why people use them? What are they used for? If this sounds like you, come and join us and practice with your very own pendulum! This class is taught for you to learn how to listen to the still small voice within you that has always been there to guide you. The pendulum is how you reconnect with yourself and so much more! Come and join Spiritualist & Reiki Master Stephanie Rosally-Kaplan and Psychic Medium & Spiritual Coach Jennifer Gaylord! 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Herbology

As part of our Harry Potter Day at the Red Barn in Durham!

Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi, making it the wizarding equivalent to botany. Herbology is a core class and subject taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Many plants provide ingredients for potions and medicine, while others have magical effects of their own right. One of the required subjects for Harry Potter and his classmates at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is herbology—the study of plants and their medicinal uses. Although some plants studied by Harry Potter are fictional, several are real and have been studied by early scientists and botanists. These scientists recognized the medicinal value of plants and believed in their healing powers. Many are still used today for treating injuries, wounds and diseases. We will discuss these herbs and their "Magical" Healing Properties.
